Ok first off I'd just like to say I'm not obsessed with painting drawing myself but the fact is when I want to try out something new like a quick 4hr Leonardo Da Vinci style image I'm the only one who will put up with being drawn... Girlfriends are all well and good but they think that every life drawing session will be a scene out of Titanic and whilst its fun to steam up windows it doesn't put food on the table...

My main reaction after attempting his style was "how does he do that... and that and all the rest".

Anyway going head to head with arguably the best known artist from history probably was only going to result in one out come so to make myself feel better I made an alternative version (above) which doesn't look like Leo's style thus sparing my blushes.

A detail from a Wacom pencil sketch of Aubrey De Grey.

A quick 3hr try out of the new Wacom tablet and Painter software. An eyeballed painting of me in a mirror. Although I'm not wild about the whole style I love the immediacy of the tablet and virtual painting materials. I'm going to knock out a load more and refine a style.

I was recently working with the Night Agency on a Nike AD for a new sports shoe. I used the money to buy myself a special edition Wacom Intuos 3... which is amazing in fact I don't really know how I got along with one for so long!
